Determined to continue singing together while apart, the USC Oriana Choir collaborated virtually for their performance of “La Mia Stella” by Ivo Antognini, each recording their part from home. Written as a conversation between a refugee child and his father, the piece is a moving dedication to all those seeking a better life.
The song’s message struck a feeling of hope for the choir’s members and inspired them to take on a new digital format for their first-ever virtual performance, so they could continue doing what they love.
Enjoy. Live from wherever we are.
